The rain has stopped. Pretty windy out there and it isn't quite sunny. I guess that is a good thing though as it won't be too hot for riding.

@CircleBlue - I am sorry for your heat wave. Your temperatures in the mid-west and back east are ridiculous. I guess I really shouldn't complain about rain.

@BeemerGirl - The weather is a changing. Rumor has it we'll see high 80's on Saturday and Sunday. We'll see.

@Sonja - you are so good about riding in all kinds of weather. Sad when it is a treat to not get rained on.

@Geoff - my sympathies for your weather. Call it climate change, call it global warming, either way our weather is not what it used to be and is more extreme.

@Gary - it is hard for me to feel sorry for your crappy London weather when you are tooling around Spain in the sunshine :-). Although I am happy for you that you are always able to go out for amazing rides and travel so much.

@Raftnn - His name is Squire Basil. We found him for our other cat Sir Baxter (RIP). What knight doesn't need a Squire?

@Nikos - Basil says thanks for the tummy rub. Mmm tummy rubs. Yesterday I got rained on twice! Hope that Mother Nature has some mercy with us poor riders.

Speedy recovery for hubby! And Squire Basil does exactly the right thing. Take a nap and ignore the weather. We, too, have had lots of rain. Last Tuesday we had a storm with winds so strong that it blew my bike over. Now, it is hot--triple digits hot. Sorry, this riding season has gone as you hoped. I admit I, too, had hoped for you lots of miles on your new bike. Oh well, the weather may surprise you yet.Keith - Circle Bluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11992667666539622569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10735041579950338.post-35323469324568125702011-07-17T18:25:29.026-07:002011-07-17T18:25:29.026-07:00I feel exactly the same way like a sad panda. Thi...I feel exactly the same way like a sad panda. This weather is a soul destroyer and seems to make everyone feel sad and listless. I am 2 weeks away from vacation and am praying for some sunshine. I certainly don't know what we have done to tick off Mother Nature, but I am tired of her weather PMS. I went out on my scoot yesterday in the varying shades of grey and between the raindrops. The humidity is irksome as well, you don't know how to dress its either too much or too little. Hope Troubadour is on the mend so you both can get some riding in. Happy un-summer.Dar https://www.blogger.com/profile/14690180541358767168noreply@blogger.com
