I prefer to just go where I'm going at that point. I hate to f**k around and get lost while riding. Must be a confidence thing. If I get lost I'd rather be in the car, warm and dry. My preference is to walk around campus.

I think I didn't get a ticket because it was so early on a Saturday morning or maybe people were allowed to park in that lot, not sure. I didn't have a parking permit stuck to the car so it was in the back of my mind. If I got a ticket it was just taking one for the team.Trobairitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453398807198746434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10735041579950338.post-73555246794792616512012-03-13T06:29:28.351-07:002012-03-13T06:29:28.351-07:00I think people were inside since it was the weeken...I think people were inside since it was the weekend. The students were probably hungover or still sleeping. Were you hoping for some pics of the college girls?

Summer and fall are the best times for those. Warm weather months they have a tendency to wear less clothing. Well, that and Halloween.

A bicycle probably would have been a better option, but on Saturday I was heading to coffee after which is uphill north of town and was on a time constraint and my bicycle is hanging from the garage rafters in a place I can't get it down. Hubby has to get it down from up there for me.Trobairitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453398807198746434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10735041579950338.post-39747218547807189472012-03-12T21:43:10.073-07:002012-03-12T21:43:10.073-07:00Really? I'm pretty sure I've done a few wrong way streets with a general attitude of oh f*** it - I'm going....

Another nice series of photos. Nice serendipity with the bike! :) I love the little pink tree - very delicate.

Amazing no ticket...They are generally very thorough in their parking ticket practices so I hear.Bluekathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13485258388887249275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10735041579950338.post-29486434636225956322012-03-12T15:16:55.467-07:002012-03-12T15:16:55.467-07:00Trobairitz:

We are heading into spring rains so I'll be glad when it dries out too. It was dry enough on Friday I managed to get the front lawns mowed before the rains came back on Saturday.Trobairitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03453398807198746434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10735041579950338.post-81297117371125773922012-03-12T06:22:23.123-07:002012-03-12T06:22:23.123-07:00You are very welcome. If you ever would like a photo of somewhere in the area to see how it has changed, feel free to let me know. Even the green grass and that spectacular glorious pink flowering tree brought back memories of the wet sidewalks on the way to class and the smells of cedar and what seemed to be a mix of peppermint and eucalyptus in the air- always.

Fairbanks was white, then, I think, and seemed smaller...but that must have been just me. Beautiful photos.
