When Troubadour was trying out the new Canon camera a few weeks ago an unsuspecting subject came strolling in the house.
Poor Basil, all he wanted was some tuna. He figures if he comes in and sits in front of the kitchen sink on the floor mat and looks pretty he'll get some tuna for dinner. It usually works, but on this particular night he had to do some posing first.
He hasn't quite learned to look at the camera in this one - look up Basil....
Great, you looked up, now move a little to the right..... no, no, my right......
Got it.....
It was a little chilly outside so he was nice and fluffy.
The fourescent lights in the kitchen are not ideal so the pics aren't quite as sharp as I'd like and turned out a little green, but adding magenta can only compensate so much. Overall, not too bad for the first venture with the camera while we were getting used to flash, no flash, it's quirks, etc.

What a gorgeous tabby! Quite patient with you, too -:) Tabbies can do no wrong, in my book anyway. I hope you buy lots of tuna for this handsome guy!
ReplyDeleteBasil is beautiful, and very fluffy! I love the 3rd photo, definitely got it. :)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to pet the cat. My comment on the photos.
