Scooter Love

Do you love Scooters?

Do you love pizza?

Well, now there is a way to combine those to desires.....

(Really? The world needed these?)

And in case you didn't think it was an actual product Amazon gives you a picture of it 'in use'.

(Looks kind of photo shopped, yeah? - Nice center stand.)

What's that?  Red not your scooter color of choice?  Well then, the folks at Hoobbe present to you the Pizza Rider, in the color white for the reserved Scooterista who prefers to blend in.

(Ooooh it even has a top case)

In case you were wondering, no I wasn't Googling scooter pizza cutters.  I saw a link on Facebook today that was in regards to 10 pizza cutters we could do without and the red one happened to be on the list.

I didn't realize there were so many scooter themed kitchen gadgets out there.  The Amazon page for the Pizza Rider informed me that customers who viewed the Pizza Rider also viewed the Vespa Salt & Pepper Shakers.

No way, I thought.  I just had to click it, you know I did.  Which means I have to share it with you.

(Vespa Salt & Pepper Shakers)

I was going to stop there thinking if I didn't I'd be on the page all day, but then this caught my eye and I thought of SonjaM.

(For you Sonja ------> LINK)

Hope everyone gets a chuckle out of this.  I know I was laughing when I saw them all on Amazon. Well, it was more like head shaking except for the sign.  That one is a neat idea.

  1. So, what did you end up ordering?

I've seen the pizza cutter in a store somewhere before and it seemed like an interesting tool though it may be hard to clean...

    1. Oh nothing for me. I am not a collector.

I guess I am not too much of a gadget person either unless it is streamlined and functional. I had to share though as I hadn't seen these before.

  2. Very clever! I agree with Richard. Cleaning might be a chore, but it's darn cute. I'll take the shakers.

    1. Hmmm wonder if they are dishwasher safe?

I thought the shakers would make a cute display on a shelf. Like little statues.

    1. Mmmm spinach pizza. I usually make homemade pizza with the dough from scratch and I haven't done it in a while, just might have too. I worked at a pizza joint/cafe in high school and I still use their dough recipe. Scaled down of course.

  4. Wow, that's... painful. Ok, the shakers are kinda cute but the cutter? I don't know. You seem to know me well though, because I really like the sticker. Although... do you think I have some violent streak? Moi? I would never use a stick.

    1. I thought the cutter was laughable, that is why I had to share. The shakers are bright but kind of neat.

But the sticker made me think of you. I don't think you would use a stick, maybe kick their butts, although I think you could give them a real verbal zinger too. I think you need one of those stickers for your parking space at home.

I like the salt & pepper shakers but they would not get any use from us as we don't use much salt or pepper and the pizza cutter has too many hard spots to clean but I am thankful for those nice scooter mugs we have

    1. I can see no salt, but I couldn't do without the pepper. We like to spice things up.

And I am glad you like your scooter mugs. :-)

  6. Love the salt and pepper shakers .. really want them .. just dont know what I'd do with them as we use grinders ... but they are cute!!

I was very disapointed that when I put 'vespa shaped utensils' in google all I got was the same that you have here ... there should be a lot more scooter shaped stuff out there!!

    1. We use grinders too, but you might be able to put them on a shelf as objects d'art for the kitchen.

Hmmm maybe go to amazon.com and type in Vespa into the kitchen department and see what comes up. Or just in the general search on Amazon. You never know.

    1. I wonder if they make that sticker for BMWs too? If so you and Oilburner just might need a few.

  9. That's funny. Another item to my add to the "what do people in China think of us Americans when they make this stuff for us" list.

    1. Really makes you wonder doesn't it. I am sure there are die hard collectors out there that 'have' to collect everything having to do with a certain theme, but I just don't get it.

    2. Oooh a motorcycle cookie cutter. Now that sounds promising. I never did a search on Amazon for motorcycle gadgets, maybe I need to just for chuckles and grins.

  13. Hmm, scooters...personally I like most things on 2 wheels. I like the old classic scooters of the Mods and Rockers days as well as the new super dupers. In the UK there's something of a love/hate psyche regarding scooters. I have a pic that sums the latter up perfectly. Will e-mail

  14. Perfect timing! I need to get something fun for a scooter friend and had no idea there were so many choices. My shopping list is complete!

  15. Add me to the Salt & Pepper shakers list. They look whimsical enough to have for cookouts. Hmm, I'll call them whimsicals.

  16. Cute ... pizza cutter, bet it's great on the straight stretches!

    1. Ha, now that is funny. With two cutting wheels on the red one I was wondering if it would cut straight or you'd have a thin slice where the wheels didn't line up right. Like truck tires dogtrot.

  17. Oh, lordy! Now I've got something else to lust after (though these could be attainable!) and they will fit nicely on my "scooter shelf" where I've got Snoopy and Maxine riding "scooter like" red machines of some sort.

I am always looking for scooter knicknacks along these lines...

    Off to Amazon!
