It is amazing the pictures you find online when poking around. Some days I find some and save them for later. I don't know the story behind this particular contraption or even where I found the picture since it was several months ago.
I am hoping this is just a novelty for parades and such. I really don't know how you could steer it.
Although...... if one were to ride/drive it, I think they'd need to do it dressed as the Hamburglar.
Now that would complete the picture, ridiculous as it may be. If you're going to go for that look, take it all the way baby.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you open the top bun to climb IN. Then you close it and let have of yourself "stick" outside. You have the handlebars to steer and presumably the foot controls to be used underneath. and if you get hungry you just eat your ride . . .

I think you are correct, that the top half of your body would stick out.
DeleteAnd as you drive down the street how many people will yell: "Nice buns!"

ReplyDeletePS: might be my kind of ride, I wouldn't need riding boots

Hmmmmm would you go barefoot, or crocs?
DeleteI think you might just relish going without shoes on the burger bike.
I wonder if you could get it with extra pickles?!
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely right it is FUGLY. I wonder if it is actually a scooter under there or small bike. What type of gear does one wear when riding a hamburger? I seem to have an intense craving for McDonalds now......
mmmmm extra pickles.
DeleteI dunno what kind of motor is under it, you can't really see much, could be a pedal bike for all we know, but judging by the front wheel and tire I think scooter or motorcycle.
It definitely appears to be a burger to go. And, it appears to be chopped.
ReplyDeleteBurger to go...... I should have used that as a title.
DeleteSo, how pathetic is it that it's 8:13, I'm stuck in the office, about to leave, I check the blog, notice your post, can't resist, read it, and now find myself salivating!!
ReplyDeleteDid you notice the drive-in mod: a take-out tray above the headlight? Now that's practical! Ever take your bike through a McDonalds drive-through? I did once. That tray would be a real asset.
Stuck in the office late, that is no fun.
DeleteSorry to make you hungry. I did notice the take out tray, I thought it was too funny.
I wonder if the bun gets soggy when it rains ... I think I'll have poutine :o) (hey, I'm from the east)
ReplyDeleteSoggy buns, now that is no fun at all........
DeleteMmmmm poutine. I miss poutine. We used to get it in BC when we lived there.
Poutine! One of the things I look forward to when passing through Canada.
ReplyDeleteI do like the drive through mod though I think I'll pass on the rest...
Between you and V-Star lady I am having a poutine craving now.
DeleteHaven't had any since we left BC. Of course, I don't think I could find vegan cheese curds.......
Some peoples imagnation never ceases to amaze me....but in this instance ....sigh!
ReplyDeleteIt is a sight to behold isn't it. Kind of makes the eyes hurt.
DeleteI applaud the creativity, but at the same time I think it is so fugly. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.
Turning up to a party on a trike like that would be awesome! Imagine the laugh folk would have!
ReplyDeleteI think you are right, it would be a great party wagon. Parties and parades it is perfect for.
DeleteI think this ride looks like a parade waiting to happen! I bet it would be fun to putt around town in. Problem with that is... you'll be like the Pied Piper with a trail of little kids screaming after ya for their Happy Meals! lol!
ReplyDeleteand BTW... what is poutine?
I think you are correct, there would be a trail of kids following it.
DeletePoutine is a dish consisting of French fries topped with cheese curds and gravy. Very popular in Canada, especially back east.
Evidently, it's a Harley... http://www.burgerweb.com/harley.htm
ReplyDeleteGood to know. Thank you for the link.
