Okay everyone, it is Sunday and to make good on my promise of the giveaway here goes. I typed everyone's names into the list randomizer in the order you commented. Even though I know real names I used the ones used by Blogger so that everyone reading knew which commenter was which.
The list going in was as follows, with a total of 20 entries:
Coop aka Coopaway
Flyboy
RichardM
Bobskoot
Helmet or Heels
Circle Blue
David Masse
Andrew Thomson
Brenda
Dar
Roger Fleming
Kathy Kirkpatrick
Robert Wilson
Dave
From the Seat of the Pillion
Invicta Moto
KT Did
Deb
Suzu Gladi
Saddle Up and Scooter for Fun
I had Troubadour as my witness when I clicked the 'randomize' button and and then laughed when the list came up - I've taken a picture the actual list from the random.org website. With the most comments coming from the USA I fully expected a USA winner, but I guess that is why they call it random, ratios don't figure into the equation.

Congratulations Rogey! - please email or facebook message me your mailing address.
On behalf of myself and the US postal service we thank all of you for playing. To everyone who didn't win, I'll see what I can come up with over the next few months for another giveaway or maybe this will inspire people to keep the "pay it forward" going.
And..... yesterday we just happened to go to Portland to The One Motorcycle Show. Yes, there were some cool bikes and loud live music, but holy hipsters Batman. I think there was more hair gel combined with men wearing skinny jeans than I've ever seen in one place. Full post to follow, but here is a teaser picture.

Have a great day and I hope you get out for a ride, and if not, relax and do something else that makes you happy.

Congrats to Roger. Trobairitz, I didn't comment because the last thing I need is more stuff, but what a fun idea. Looking forward to your motorcycle/hair gel and skinny jeans post.
ReplyDeleteWe don't need more stuff either, hence the give away.
DeleteHurray for Roger! I'm curious as to how long that will actually take to get to his home from your post office...have a great day too!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure how long it will take once it leaves our post office, but I don't think it will take long since it is air mail.
DeleteGo Roger!!
ReplyDeleteHe already left, lol.
Deletehmmm, having trouble commenting today, ugh must be operator error ;) sorry if you get 2 comments.
ReplyDeletelol! VStar, my sentiments exactly!
yay for the great fun though, great idea! and yay for Rogey!
Only one comment came through - it's all good.
DeleteHoly crap....that is hilarious..I must be the further est away from you than anybody! But I shall gratefully accept my winnings.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all I would like to Thanks my Mum and Dad, and my kids, for there love an support during my lifetime and also my manager and......
You forgot to thank the academy......
DeleteAnd I think Flyboy might be a little further away, although it does look pretty close on the map. :-)
Way to go Roger....I'm guessing you were one of the few in the group that didn't already have some of this collection. Have fun with your winnings!
ReplyDeleteYou're so gracious. He will probably be the only one in NZ with an Allstate t-shirt.
DeleteThat is way too funny for it to go to Rogey! Yep...had to be the furthest away. :)
ReplyDeleteI llliiikkkeeeee that bike!! Looking forward to the post.
There were some pretty col bikes at the show, just wish it hadn't have been so loud (damn I'm getting old) and a few less people. I was expecting a larger venue.
DeleteI am delighted to find myself in my accustomed place...holding everybody else up so their names didn't go falling off the page.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Roger.
~Keith
Mate, i felt for you when I saw your name at the bottom, so I made some cookies for you....unfortunatly i ate them on the way to the post office, so I need to come up with another plan!
DeleteBut you'll always be tops in our book Keith. Don't listen to the mean random.org computer..........
DeleteThanks Roger, I feel much better now.
DeleteYay Roger!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Brandy thanks for doing it :)
Can't wait to see skinny jeans and hair gel.
Hey, I think you were probably further away than Roger too distance wise.
DeleteI didn't get any actual pictures of the skinny jeans and hair gel laden Portland hipsters unless they are in the background of the pics. I did raise the camera up to try and take a few area shots to give an idea of the people. We'll see. I feel odd taking people shots, feel like a creeper or something.
I feel like that too Brandy but sometimes I'd really like to have a go at people shots. I sometimes look at some of those clever photographers who can take an interesting photo of an interesting person doing an ordinary thing ... awsome stuff.
DeleteOh well I'll settle for pics of bikes :-D
There are a lot of really neat people shots out there, but I think I am too shy to attempt them. I don't always do well in crowds. Sometimes I even feel odd taking pics of people we know. Yeah I'm weird that way, well one of the many ways. ;-)
DeleteSo, is Roger coming back to pick up his prize?
ReplyDeleteOoooh I think you are on to something there. Maybe I should have added contingencies.....
DeleteGrats Roger!
ReplyDeleteSo jealous you made it to the show. Going to have to visit that one of these years. Looking forward to the future post!
I finally managed to get it posted today. I've got an extra two hours in the morning since we are up at 4 am now so I've been working on it the last two mornings.
