A Visitor from Afar

Well, not really afar, but he had been from Coast to Coast and back again.

On Friday afternoon the elusive Bobskoot arrived in the valley to 90˚ weather and accepted our invitation to stay overnight.  He was interested in coming to coffee Saturday morning. Troubadour had to teach Saturday so I would have been going to coffee solo.

(Bobskoot at Saturday Morning Coffee)

We left coffee at about 11:30 am.  Hugs were given all around and I watched him ride away.

Thank you for taking the time to visit Bob.  It was a pleasure, as always.

  1. Hope you got his autograph - the famous coast-to-coast blogger! Weather looks good, hope you had a nice little ride.

    1. I think we have his autograph around here somewhere......

It was only 5 miles to coffee in town so not a bad ride. At least it was nice and sunny.

  2. It looks like Vov is claiming the clead, shiny bike. Trade?

Did you get a ride in after coffee?

    1. It should've said

"It looks like Bob is claiming the clean, shiny bike. Did he offer to trade?"

Where is auto-correct when you need it?

    2. I had the Bob part of it by checking my keyboard. I am glad I am not the only one that notices typos after I submit my comment.

Bob actually commented on how clean and shiny my bike was so good call on that Richard. You are so perceptive. He did offer to let me sit on Nu2Me but I declined as it was so loaded. When his BMW is naked it actually weighs about 20 lbs less than Max, go figure.

  3. And through Bobskoot the degrees of separation between East Coast and West Coast bloggers are once again reduced.

    1. You are very welcome Bob. I hope you took the time to eat some of your snacks and sandwich. It was no problem, I was making Brad a lunch anyway.

    1. I don't think he minded the food and internet at our house or at coffee. Both had fast wi-fi and good food.

I made homemade banana bread with chocolate chips and walnuts and also homemade pizza with the dough from scratch. It was the first time he'd had a vegan BBQ 'chicken' pizza I do believe.

    1. Once he hit Crescent City he was in familiar territory. I think that always helps to ease the mind a bit.

    1. Bob has been wanting to go to coffee for a while. Richard has been and Dom has been so it was Bob's turn. People were definitely interested in his bike and stories. It was quite loud in there. I think 10-11 of us came to coffee.

    1. I liked it to, a friend shouldn't have a purpose they should just be a friend.
