The Seven Day Challenge

.
I recently wrote a blog post that listed what seven motorcycles I would like to own if money was no object.

As Raftnn, aka Roger from All Things Rogey! fame, suggested in his comment on that post: "You should make this a blog challenge.....you just never know what migh turn up!"

Challenge accepted, so here goes:

If you had unlimited funds and could have one bike for every day of the week, what bikes would you choose? Please do a blog post listing which bike you would choose for which day of the week and why. After posting, please leave a comment on this post linking your blog post.

Please note this is not a contest. Everyone wins when it comes to dreaming about motorcycles. Just have fun trying to narrow it down to seven.

  8. Trobairitz:

sorry but I don't need a bike for every day. I only need a "spare" bike for when my main one needs to be serviced, perhaps a Yamaha TW250 dual sport so as not to duplicate.

    But I do have multiple cameras . . .

  12. My choices were for bikes from my younger days. It's neat to see other peoples choices.

  13. More people playing along. Yeah! Thank you everyone who is participating.

And Bobskoot, we'll forgive you for not coming up with 7 bikes. I am sure you can come up with a camera a day, one for each day of the week. We're looking forward to seeing you and Mrs. Skoot next month in Seattle.

  16. Here is my unfinished list. I could only come up with five so does that mean I have to drive the other two days?

  17. here's my list, without a post:

    - Harley XR 1200 X (which I own)
    - Yamaha XT 500 from the early '80s
    - Harley Street Glide
    - Moto Guzzi V7 racer
    - Moto Morini Granpasso
    - Ural sidecar
    - Honda Dominator 650 from 1992

  18. @ Richard - only coming up with five means you can store those two up for a rainy day. Then when you think of another or see another you can add it to you list. It's like having an ace up your sleeve.

@Tuscan Foodie - Great list of bikes. I bet you enjoy that XR 1200. Thank you for stopping by. I checked out your blog. I enjoyed your post on what is wrong with American sandwiches. Very well said.

  19. The XR is a beautiful bike and I am enjoying it a lot...i think it is going to be one of those bikes that will remain in my garage for some time...

Re sandwiches: don't get me wrong, I love American food (otherwise I would be writing that blog), but so-called Italian sandwiches leave me puzzled.
